Katy Perry has split with John Mayer after 8 months relationship after she figured out that she has no long term future with the US singer and songwriter. But Katy proved that she is certainly not ready stay at his home thinking about her ex-flame as she was spotted on Good Friday.

Keeping busier than earlier after the split, the 28 year old star called off her energy into a hard gym session, before she head to the recording studio to carry on her work on her forthcoming 4th album.

When she reached at the Capitol Records in Hollywood, California, the I Kissed A Girl singer appeared to have come right from the gym as she was looking sporty in her form fitting leggings a navy and pink zip up jacket.

The singer sported her raven hair scraped back off her face in a bun, while maintaining her eyes sheltered from Californian sun with a pair of shades. In the studio, Perry appeared to be total inspiration as she entered the studio to carry on her work on her 4th album. she was also carrying a laptop computer with her.

Katy is known to be a perfectionist and she took to Twitter to express her frustration in the recording process. she tweeted: ‘Step away from the snare sounds… #ocdrecording. OCD does not help, When comping vocals.’

Perry stated that she thought that her fans support her very much. They are like her friends. Keeping her speech sweet and short, she hinted that she would definitely put out good music in the near future. She added that she would be back entertaining her fans.

Well, Perry had a very busy life, both personally and professionally. Therefore, her fans would definitely give her scope to breath before working on another album. And more importantly, she needs to concentrate on her budding relationship with Musician John Mayer.

Recently, John Mayer told that he wants to move on with the Wide Awake singer and make a special sanctuary at their home. Thirty five year old Mayer had dated starts like Cameron Diaz, Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Aniston in the past; and now he thinks that Katy is the one for him. An insider reported that John is very keen to move on with Katy as early as possible.

The insider told that Mayer wants to take this relationship to another level and he wants to commit herself fully. Mayer is into architecture and wants to make a `sanctuary` for himself and Perry.

While speaking to Billboard, the ‘Firework’ singer told that she is glad that she is still alive and also added that twenty seven had been a tough year. But after all these, the Teenage Dream singer has proved how unbeatable she is by leaving her rivals behind. To mark the event, a luncheon also took place in the New York City.

The 28 year old singer donned a beautiful hot pink skintight dress to celebrate her big moment. During an interview, Katy opened up to the Billboard that accompanies her cover. While speaking to the magazine, the reigning pop princess told that she was really blindsided by the acclamation. She thought that her year was over and it was time for her to pass the baton. Now, she really feels good when she looks back to see who have been honored in the previous editions. Katy thinks that she is in a good company.

The Wide Awake singer also dismissed that statement that she is a role model and more than that she would like to alter the phrase ‘role model’ to ‘inspiration.’ At a very young age, when she aspired to be an artist, she did not think of becoming a role model; but she thought of to be an inspiration.
