Katy Perry and Jodi DiPiazza produce ‘Firework’

Katy Perry, the US pop singer, describer her recent duet performance with an autistic girl as one of the most memorable moments of her life.

The moment was really heart warming for Jodi DiPiazza who shared the stage with her idol, who is one of the top singers in the world. Katy and little Jodi performed at the fund raising event for those living with autism.

Jodi DiPiazza played the piano as well as sang with Katy with her own hit number ‘Firework.’ After they finished, Katy reached to the stage and shook hand with the little girl. She also placed a protective arm around DiPiazza and hugged her till they left the stage with arm in the air.

After the performance, the audience was full of tears at the Beacon Theatre in New York. The crowd was on their feet to praise their performance.  After the performance, the singer took on to Twitter and wrote: ‘I will never forget last night. It was the most important moment thus far of what I do.’

In another tweet, she posted the video and wrote: ‘Jodi is my firework.’ When DiPiazza was diagnosed with autism before her 2nd birthday, her parents were reported that she might mever communicate with speech. But now, with educational support, DiPiazza’s passion was harnessed and now Jodi is really thriving in this. She is studying piano in the Mannes College of Music Prep in New York.
